Accounts Settings

The Accounts tab is where you manage your personal identity, business profile, and account-level actions. This is the first tab you see when opening Settings.

Accounts & Identity

This section manages your personal login and account information.

Profile Photo

Upload a photo to personalize your account. Click Upload Photo to select an image from your device.

Full Name

Your display name shown throughout the platform. Edit this field and click Save Changes to update.

Email Address

The email associated with your account. This is used for:

  • Logging in

  • Password resets

  • Billing notifications

  • Platform communications

To change your email, update the field and save. You may need to verify the new email address.

Password

Your account password is shown as dots for security. Click Change Password to update it. You'll need to:

  1. Enter your current password

  2. Enter your new password

  3. Confirm the new password

  4. Save changes

Use a strong, unique password to keep your account secure.

Business Profile

This section defines how your trading business is identified and structured for reporting purposes.

Business Name

Enter your trading business name (e.g., "LM Trading LLC" or "Smith Trading"). This appears on reports and can help identify your business for tax purposes.

Leave blank if you operate as a sole trader without a business name.

Fiscal Year Start

Select the month and day your fiscal year begins. Most traders use:

  • January 1 — Standard calendar year

  • Other dates if your tax jurisdiction uses a different fiscal year

Fiscal Year End

Select the month and day your fiscal year ends. This is typically:

  • December 31 — For calendar year reporting

  • Adjusted based on your fiscal year start

The fiscal year settings affect how annual reports are generated and how the P&L calendar displays yearly data.

Danger Zone

This section contains irreversible actions. Use with extreme caution.

Delete All Data

Permanently removes all your data from the platform:

  • All challenges

  • All funded accounts

  • All private accounts

  • All transactions

  • All reports and history

This cannot be undone. You'll need to confirm this action before it proceeds.

When to use: If you want to start fresh without creating a new account.

Close Account

Permanently closes your account and deletes all associated data:

  • Your login will no longer work

  • All data is permanently removed

  • Your subscription is cancelled

This cannot be undone. A confirmation dialog explains the full impact before proceeding.

When to use: If you no longer wish to use the platform.

Saving Changes

Each section has its own Save Changes button. Changes are not saved automatically—you must click Save Changes after making edits in each section.

If you navigate away without saving, your changes will be lost.

Common Questions

Can I change my email address? Yes, update it in the Accounts & Identity section and save. You may need to verify the new email.

What happens if I delete all data? All your challenges, accounts, transactions, and reports are permanently removed. Your account remains active but empty.

Can I recover deleted data? No. Deletion is permanent. Export any reports you need before deleting.

Does closing my account cancel my subscription? Yes, closing your account cancels any active subscription.
