Bulk Uploading Challenges via CSV
If you have multiple challenges to add at once, you can upload them all in a single CSV file rather than entering each one manually. This is useful when you're setting up Trader Node for the first time and want to bring in your full challenge history quickly.
Before you start
Your platform and prop firm names in the CSV must exactly match the names you've set up in Settings → Categories & Tags, including capitalisation. If they don't match, the system won't recognise them. Set up your categories first before running a bulk import.
→ See: Categories & Tags Settings
Step 1: Download the template
Go to the Challenges page. In the toolbar above the data table, click the template icon (top right). Open the downloaded file in Excel, Google Sheets, or any spreadsheet app.
Step 2: Fill in your data
Use the field rules below. Errors in formatting will cause rows to fail on upload.
A correctly filled row looks like this:
Step 3:Export as CSV
Save or export the file as .csv before uploading. Most spreadsheet apps have a "Download as .csv" or "Save as .csv" option.
Step 4: Upload
On the Challenges page, click the upload icon above the data table. Select your CSV file. Your entries will appear at the top of the table.
After uploading: finishing each entry
The CSV covers the core fields, but a few things need to be completed manually. Click Edit on each imported challenge to fill in:
Number of phases
Account size currency
Upfront cost currency
Purchase date
Monthly fee (if billing type is Subscription)
Once these are saved, the system will recognise the full record and include it in your KPI cards and financial data.
