Is My Data Secure?
Yes — and our approach to data security starts with a simple principle: we don't collect what we don't need.
What We Don't Store
Trader Node does not store your prop firm login credentials, your broker passwords, your bank account details, or any API keys to external financial services. We don't connect to your accounts, we don't sync with your bank, and we don't route your data through third-party services like Plaid or similar financial data aggregators.
This isn't a feature we haven't built yet. It's a deliberate choice. The less sensitive data we hold, the less there is to compromise.
What We Do Store
Trader Node stores the business data you choose to enter: your challenge records, funded account payouts, expenses, private account balances, and transaction history. This is the data you need to manage your trading business, and nothing beyond it.
You decide what to enter, when to enter it, and how much detail to include. At no point does the platform reach out to external services to pull in additional information without your knowledge.
Why This Approach Matters
Every platform that connects to your financial accounts introduces a chain of trust. Your credentials pass through their servers, often through a third-party intermediary, and your data is stored in systems you can't see or audit. Each link in that chain is a potential point of failure.
By keeping Trader Node as a manual-entry platform, we eliminate that chain entirely. Your financial credentials stay where they belong — with you.
Our Commitment
We take the security of your business data seriously. Your information is protected with industry-standard encryption and security practices. But the strongest form of security is not collecting sensitive data in the first place, and that's the foundation our platform is built on.
