Requesting a Feature

Trader Node is built around one core objective:
help traders operate with financial clarity and real business discipline.

When requesting a feature, please frame it in terms of business clarity and real financial impact.

Helpful feature requests usually include:

  • The problem you are trying to solve

  • Why the current functionality does not meet that need

  • The business outcome you are trying to achieve

Example

Instead of:
“Add win rate to the Dashboard.”

Better:
“I want clearer visibility into which prop firms generate the highest real ROI based on payouts and challenge costs.”

This keeps the request aligned with real money, not trading vanity metrics.

What We Prioritise

We prioritise features that:

  • Improve financial clarity

  • Strengthen accounting integrity

  • Reduce confusion between virtual and real profit

  • Support disciplined, business-first decision making

  • Help traders operate more professionally

Features that introduce emotional trading pressure, virtual balance tracking, equity monitoring, or gamified metrics are unlikely to be implemented.

Early-Stage Focus

Trader Node is still in its early stages.

Right now, our primary focus is making sure all core functionality works smoothly, accurately, and reliably across:

  • Ledger integrity

  • Challenge cost tracking

  • Payout handling

  • Private account balance logic

  • Dashboard reporting

Before expanding aggressively with new features, we want to ensure the foundation is solid, stable.

We absolutely plan to continue growing and expanding the system over time. But growth must never compromise clarity or financial accuracy.

Community Voting and Feature Selection

We use a feature request and voting system.

Users can:

  • Submit ideas

  • Vote on existing suggestions

  • See what others are requesting

Community voting helps us understand demand and prioritise what matters most.

However, voting alone does not guarantee implementation.

After reviewing community demand, each feature is evaluated internally to ensure it:

  • Aligns with Trader Node’s mission

  • Maintains accounting consistency

  • Preserves Ledger integrity

  • Fits within the system’s long-term design direction

This balanced approach allows us to grow responsibly, without drifting away from what Trader Node is built to achieve.

Our commitment is not to build the most features.
It is to build the right ones.
